Meet the Founder

Dr. Van-Truong Tran is the founder of Paris SciTech.
An expert in condensed matter physics and materials science, Dr. Tran specializes in the computational physics of materials. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Vietnam (2008), a Master’s degree in Condensed Matter Physics from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan (2012), and a PhD from the University of Paris-Saclay in France (2015). Following his academic journey, Dr. Tran conducted research at prestigious institutions in France, including CNRS, CEA, Sorbonne University, and Paris-Saclay.
Dr. Tran has pursued the path of becoming a dedicated researcher, with a spirit committed to fairness in science. His contributions include 22 peer-reviewed publications, with 14 as first author, 5 as last author, and correspondence for 20 articles.
As an experienced researcher, Dr. Tran has observed inefficiencies in the execution of many academic projects and identified pressing issues in both the academic system and industrial R&D. Inspired to make a difference, he founded Paris SciTech with the goal of building a more efficient research model and promoting a fairer scientific ecosystem.
Below are some representative publications contributed by Dr. Tran.
